Fundraising Friday: Mama dog Lori Posted on Friday, 9 October 2015

Mama dog Lori is a owned by a tricycle driver down the street from our clinic. Last month, we saw her and offered our spay services to Lori. We started feeding her to get her more healthy but noticed that she did not seem to get any better–in fact, she was getting worse. She barely stood up, had nosebleeds and was always surrounded by flies despite being given baths.

One of our volunteers agreed to bring her to our partner clinic for further check ups and we found out that she showed elevated kidney enzymes and is anemic.
