Fundraising Friday: Show Bumpy Some Love Posted on Friday, 23 October 2015

CARA Animal Welfare Philippines
Bumpy is one of our tiny and very endearing pit bulls at the center. Last weekend, we noticed that she was limping, depressed and not eating. We rushed her to the vet and discovered there was an obstruction in her intestines.

Part of Bumpy’s intestines needed to be cut as it was already out of blood supply due to the obstruction. They discovered a mix of dried up plants, branches, wood that hardened and could not pass through her organs.

She is now under injectable medications as nothing is allowed to be given orally to her yet. We hope that you can help us give Bumpy the post surgery treatment she needs, as well as in covering the expenses of her surgery. Bumpy really needs your help!
