May may have flown by, but we stayed busy working for the animals who count on us every day. Here’s a quick look at what we accomplished together last May!
🐕 A Big Move for CARA Dogs!
On May 25, we moved the dogs from CARA Home in Sta. Rosa, Laguna to KAHU House, a compound in Novaliches, Quezon City. Dogs from our Mandaluyong facility also joined them in this new location. While the new space is called KAHU House, the project remains under the name CARA Home.
This move marks a fresh start for our rescues, giving them a bigger and safer environment while they wait for their forever families.
🐈 Steady Progress with CNVR
Our CNVR (Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) efforts continue strong, helping manage the stray cat population humanely and sustainably. In May alone, we spayed and neutered 199 cats — 100 females and 99 males. We also maintained our ongoing CNVR partnerships with several communities and residential areas, ensuring these programs keep running smoothly.
🐾 Two More Happy Tails
This month brought happy endings for two of our beloved cats!
Xander found his forever home with Donna Hyse Hamilton on May 5.
Natalia, who had been waiting patiently, was adopted by Ruby Ann Espinosa on May 18.
We’re thrilled to see them start new chapters filled with love!
🛍️ Meaningful Events & Activities

We also brought CARA’s mission to more people by setting up booths at Arborlane on May 17 and a joint pop-up with Faux Cafe on May 31. There, we sold merch to support our programs and handed out brochures to help raise awareness about adoption, CNVR, and responsible pet care.
💛 Kind Hearts Keep Us Going

We also received generous donations of cat food and pet supplies from various kind-hearted supporters. These gifts make a real difference in the daily lives of our rescues.
Thank you to everyone who adopted, donated, attended our events, or simply shared our posts last month. Each small act helps us continue this mission of compassion. Stay tuned for more updates — and as always, follow us on social media to see the many ways you can get involved. 💛
