Weโre starting the BER months strong with continued efforts towards CNVR, awareness, and fundraising. From those who gifted generous donations, visitors who bought our merch, and volunteers who continue to give their time and effort, this September truly marked the start of the season of giving.
๐ Steady CNVR Progress
This September, our CNVR programs have resulted in 242 cats and 3 dogs spayed and neutered.
Our CNVR agreements continue strong, with old locations as well as new partnerships: Newport Blvd, Dasmariรฑas Village, Magallanes Village, Manila American Cemetery, Solstice Tower Condominium, Circuit Makati Estate Association, Brio Tower Condominium, Trion Tower, Vierra Residence, Brgy. Wack-Wack, Tivoli Garden, Lexington Village, Pacific Malayan, Cats of Ortigas, Cats of California Garden Square, San Lorenzo Village, Barangay Bel Air, Cats of BGC, Cats of McKinley, Rhapsody, First Balfour, Alabang Hills, and Merville Subdivision.

In addition to our CNVR partnerships, we are also happy to share that on September 15, Team Leader Leslie Ferriols represented CARA on DZXL News and gave an enlightening interview about CNVR and proper community cat feeding. We are grateful for mainstream news outlets like them for giving us the opportunity to reach a wider audience and further spread our advocacy!
๐ World Pet Expo 2025
From September 25 to 28, CARA participated in the World Pet Expo 2025 held at the World Trade Center โ a 4-day event jampacked with activities, visitors, and fun! Despite the rain on some of the days, our booth welcomed the happy faces of both pets and pawrents. We spread awareness through our volunteer speaker Irianne, who discussed Community Cat Care, as well as through handing out brochures and answering visitor inquiries. Aside from selling, we also gave away merch and freebies through fun games which many of our booth-goers enjoyed!
Weโd like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth, asked about our advocacy, and supported our mission by buying or donating. We want to give a shoutout to our partner Unleash PH, who helped us man our booth and sponsored our giveaways! Weโre also grateful to our other partners: Watch Republic Shop / Esprit, The Hungry Paws, Purrla, and The Perfect Paws, who all generously gave their vouchers as freebies for visitors. Of course, a big thanks to the organizers of the World Pet Expo 2025 for making all of this possible.
Last but not the least, to our amazing volunteers: thank you for giving your time, energy, and heart throughout the entire event โ we couldnโt have done it without you!
๐ Heartfelt Donations

A big thank you to Ms. Kaori Oinuma, Emilio Daez Buddies, and OB Montessori Gradeschool Students for their donations this month! From pet food to medical and cleaning supplies, your generosity keeps our animals healthy and our facilities running. We are truly grateful for every donation!
With the year nearing its end, we would like to thank everyone who supported us this year so far, and we look forward to an even more compassionate future. ๐พโค๏ธ
